Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Texas Oil & Gas Collective LLC, operating publicly as TEXAS OIL & GAS and TX OIL & GAS ("we," "us," or "our"), is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. The policy applies to https://txog.shop (the "Site"), customer accounts, inquiries, shopping features, and our related services (the "Services").

Business mailing address: 5900 Balcones Dr, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78731, United States
Phone: 832-301-5775
Privacy contact: DRAY@txog.shop

This is a notice of our practices, not a requirement to waive privacy rights. Where a particular activity requires consent, we obtain that consent separately. The available features determine what information is processed; describing a future payment or communications feature does not mean it is currently enabled.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Depending on your interaction, we process your name, username or display name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, separate recipient details, account authentication information, order information, customer-service correspondence, and information you voluntarily submit. Optional features may process inventory interests, reorder preferences, reviews, business inquiries, or shopping-questionnaire selections.

When you supply another recipient's information, use information you are entitled to provide and provide it only as needed for the requested service. Do not submit passwords, complete payment-card details, government identification, or medical records through ordinary support email or contact forms.

Order and transaction information

We process cart selections, items and variations, quantities, prices, discounts, taxes, shipping charges, order status, delivery information, refund records, and relevant support or dispute records when those functions are used. An attempted purchase can create a cart or order record even if payment is not completed.

Payment information

Online payment processing is not currently enabled. The following describes the intended handling of payments when that feature is enabled; it does not identify an already-approved processor.

TEXAS OIL & GAS facilitates online purchases through the Site. Payment transactions are processed by an authorized third-party payment processor. Depending on the processor selected, the processor may collect payment-card details, billing information, transaction information, and other information necessary to authorize and process a payment. TEXAS OIL & GAS does not intend to directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes. Payment processors process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. TEXAS OIL & GAS will identify the applicable payment processor and provide access to its privacy information when online payment processing is enabled.

Where supported, a provider may return a transaction identifier, authorization result, payment token, card brand, expiration information, or masked digits for account and transaction administration. These are different from storing a complete card number or security code. We do not request raw card information by email. A displayed card logo alone does not establish that the corresponding method is active.

Technical information

Website and infrastructure systems may process IP address, browser and device characteristics, request time, referring page, pages requested, error information, security events, and cookie or session identifiers. Approximate location may be inferred from an IP address; that is different from requesting precise GPS location. IP addresses and similar identifiers can be personal information even when they do not display your name.

Information from others

We may receive transaction status from an active payment service, delivery confirmation from a carrier, correspondence through our email service, or information needed to investigate a support, security, or fraud issue. We do not describe public-data enrichment, purchased marketing lists, or social-profile harvesting as current features of the Services.

2. Age Acknowledgement and Eligibility Information

The website may store a cookie or browser-storage value recording an age acknowledgement so the same notice need not be repeated during its intended persistence period. That acknowledgement is not identity verification and does not establish transaction or shipping eligibility.

A future identity or age-verification service may require additional information. Before adding such collection, we will identify the relevant service and explain the information requested, purpose, recipients, and applicable retention or consent practices. Do not send identity documents through ordinary email in anticipation of a service that has not been introduced.

3. Guided Shopping Information

Guided Shopping may process optional responses concerning product category, format, familiarity, self-described tolerance, flavor, timing, or other preferences. The current design processes questionnaire answers in the browser for the session rather than automatically writing them into the customer's account. Closing a browser tab, restarting the guide, or clearing site storage can affect that state.

Separately saved inventory interests and reorder preferences are account records described below. Following a product link can also create ordinary page-request or cart records. Browser-local processing does not mean every later page request is anonymous.

These selections are not a diagnosis or medical advice. Some information or inferences about preferences may be considered sensitive under applicable law. We do not request diagnoses, prescriptions, or health records for this feature. We do not sell questionnaire responses or use them for cross-site targeted advertising. A change that saves or shares materially different preference data will be disclosed before that change takes effect, with consent when required.

4. Account Information

Accounts use WordPress and WooCommerce functionality to maintain identity, contact and address details, authentication records, preferences, and applicable order records. Passwords are handled by the authentication system; they are not intended to be stored or displayed as plain-text customer-profile fields.

You can update supported account fields through your account. Contact us for requests that cannot be completed there. Protect your credentials and do not share them with another customer.

5. Inventory Alerts and Product Interests

Inventory-alert enrollment is optional and is not preselected. Interests may include Flower, Edibles, Beverages, Powders, Oils, Accessories, Apparel, or all new inventory. Account interests are saved only according to the selections you provide.

A saved interest does not mean that email or SMS delivery has already been activated. When a delivery service is available, we use the contact details and permission appropriate to that service. You may withdraw permission or change interests through available account controls or by contacting us. Account creation and a telephone number supplied for delivery do not themselves authorize optional marketing.

6. Reorder Information

Account tools may use prior order identifiers, product or variation identifiers, a chosen frequency, relevant dates, and the enabled or disabled preference state to maintain reorder preferences. Saving a frequency does not itself submit an order or authorize a charge.

Automatic recurring purchasing requires separate disclosures, a functioning approved payment service, and applicable authorization before it can begin. This policy does not create that authorization.

7. How We Use Information

We use the information relevant to a request to administer accounts and requested features, respond to questions, maintain carts and orders, fulfill eligible transactions when available, investigate delivery or damage claims, provide requested alerts, maintain records, authenticate access, and protect the Site from fraud or misuse.

We also use necessary information for diagnostics, legal compliance, tax and accounting, dispute handling, and enforcement of lawful policies. Uses are limited to the stated purpose or a compatible purpose; where a materially different use requires notice or consent, we provide it before proceeding.

Where a law requires a particular legal basis, that basis may be performance of a requested service or contract, a legal obligation, a legitimate operational or security interest subject to your rights, or consent for optional processing. We do not treat acceptance of all Terms as blanket consent for every processing purpose.

8. How We Disclose Information

Hosting, security, and technical support

Hosting and maintenance providers, including Hostinger for the website, may process stored site data, logs, or backups as needed to provide their services. Authorized technical personnel may access necessary data for maintenance or support subject to appropriate restrictions.

WordPress and WooCommerce are software used by the Site. Their use does not by itself mean every customer record is sent to their developers. A separate cloud integration, when enabled, may involve its own processing and disclosures.

Communications

Business email is maintained through our existing GoDaddy-arranged email services. Email providers process messages and contact information used for correspondence. Any separately introduced alert or SMS provider receives only information needed for authorized delivery and related administration.

Payments and delivery

When enabled, payment providers receive information needed for authorization, fraud prevention, transaction administration, refunds, and disputes. Carriers or fulfillment providers receive relevant recipient, delivery, contact, and order information. A delivery claim may require sharing the claim and supporting evidence with the entity investigating it.

Advisers, legal requests, and business changes

We may disclose necessary information to professional advisers, insurers, or authorities for legitimate legal, financial, security, or regulatory purposes. Information may be part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards and law. These descriptions do not create a general permission to disclose customer information to unrelated advertisers.

Providers processing information for us are expected to use it for the agreed service and applicable legal obligations, not unrelated purposes. We disclose additional information to another party at your direction or with consent where required.

9. Social Login

The Site does not currently offer Facebook, X, Google, or other social-account login. We do not obtain a social-network friends list through account registration. Introducing social login would require an updated explanation of the provider and information exchanged.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and browser storage support functions such as authentication, account security, cart and session continuity, age acknowledgement, and requested preferences. Infrastructure may also process information needed for security, caching, or diagnostics. Retention varies by the technology and purpose.

You can manage site cookies through your browser. Disabling necessary storage may prevent login, cart, or age-acknowledgement functions from working as intended. Clearing browser storage does not necessarily delete information already saved in an account or order record.

We do not currently use customer information for cross-context behavioral advertising or sell it to data brokers. Any introduction of nonessential advertising or tracking must be preceded by an accurate notice and the consent or opt-out controls required by law. Necessary technical logging is not the same as an advertising program.

11. Data Security and Sensitive Information

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and Services, including HTTPS for enabled public account and checkout pages, access controls, authentication, and maintenance practices. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed completely secure.

Credentials, financial identifiers, and certain preference information may receive heightened protection under applicable law. We do not make a blanket claim that none of the information we handle can be sensitive. When sensitive-data processing requires consent, we obtain it before that processing. We do not request precise GPS location or biometric identity data through the current shopping questionnaire.

12. Data Retention

Account information is retained while needed to administer the account or fulfill a lawful purpose. Order, refund, tax, dispute, and security records may need to remain after an account is closed. Optional preference records are retained only while needed for the requested feature, an opt-out record, or another lawful recordkeeping purpose.

Retention considers the purpose, sensitivity, relationship with the customer, legal recordkeeping duties, disputes, and system backup cycles. When information is no longer needed, we delete or deidentify it. Backup copies may remain until their normal expiry and are not used to restart marketing or otherwise bypass a deletion request. If a backup is restored, applicable deletion and opt-out instructions must be reapplied.

13. Individuals Under 21

The Services are intended only for individuals 21 years of age or older. TEXAS OIL & GAS does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 21 through the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 21 in connection with the Services, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise appropriately address that information, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Contact DRAY@txog.shop if you believe an under-21 person has provided information through the Services. Parental permission does not authorize an under-21 account. The business's 21+ rule does not change the separate definitions or protections for children under applicable privacy law.

14. Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and which laws apply, rights may include confirmation and access, correction, deletion, portability, withdrawal of consent, and opting out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain legally significant profiling. A law may provide additional information or appeal rights.

We do not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising a protected right. Some requests are subject to verification, legal exceptions, and record-retention requirements. Merely listing a right does not represent that every privacy statute applies to this business.

15. Requests, Verification, and Appeals

Submit a request by emailing DRAY@txog.shop, calling 832-301-5775, or writing to the business mailing address in Section 22. No new account or purchase is required. Describe the request and the account or relationship involved. Do not send passwords or full card details.

We use reasonable verification matched to the sensitivity of the request. An authorized agent may submit a request with evidence of authority as required by applicable law. We use verification information for that purpose, not unrelated marketing.

We respond within the period required by applicable law. Where the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, the response period is ordinarily 45 days, with a permitted additional 45 days when necessary and explained within the initial period. Applicable statutory free-request rights and exceptions govern any fee; a normal request is not conditioned on a purchase.

If we deny a request, we provide the reason and an available appeal method. To appeal, use the same contact channels and identify the original decision; an email subject of "Privacy Appeal" helps route the request but is not mandatory. Where Texas law applies, we respond to an appeal within 60 days and provide complaint information if the appeal is denied. Other applicable deadlines or rights control where different. Texas complaints may be submitted through https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint.

16. Communications Choices

You can opt out of optional inventory or promotional messages through available account controls, the unsubscribe method in a message, or our contact channels. We may retain the minimum suppression record needed to respect the opt-out.

Necessary security, account, order, dispute, or customer-service messages are separate from marketing. SMS marketing is not currently enabled. Providing a phone number is not an automatic enrollment, and an eventual SMS program requires the applicable separate disclosures and opt-out mechanism.

17. Browser Privacy Signals

We honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable, for the processing to which they relate. An older Do-Not-Track setting is not necessarily the same as a legally recognized opt-out signal.

Our current Services do not use personal information for sale or cross-context behavioral advertising. Such a signal does not stop storage required for authentication, requested cart features, security, or another legally permitted essential function. You may also use the contact methods above to exercise an applicable opt-out right.

18. State Privacy Disclosures

Information categories we may process include identifiers and contact details; account authentication information; commercial and transaction records; technical and internet-activity records; correspondence; and preferences or associated inferences. Sections 1โ€“8 describe sources, uses, and categories of recipients. Section 12 describes retention criteria.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising under the current Services, and we do not sell sensitive or biometric data. We do not use Guided Shopping to make legally significant decisions about access to employment, lending, housing, insurance, or similar services.

Rights and sensitive-data requirements apply according to the relevant statute, its scope, and any lawful exemptions. We do not rely on this notice to eliminate a right that applies to you.

19. International Visitors

The business is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations in which providers operate. We do not promise that all support or backup access occurs in a single city or country.

Where an international data transfer is subject to legal safeguards, we use the safeguards required for that transfer. Accessing the Site is not itself a blanket waiver of local privacy protections. This policy does not promise international product shipping.

20. Third-Party Links

External links may lead to organizations with their own privacy policies. We do not control information you provide directly to them. That does not remove our responsibility for disclosures we make to them. Card logos displayed as artwork do not themselves create a payment-provider relationship.

21. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when practices materially change and revise the date above. Where required, we provide additional notice or obtain consent before a new use begins. Selecting a payment processor, introducing SMS, storing additional questionnaire answers, enabling social login, or adding nonessential tracking requires a corresponding review of the disclosures and controls before activation.
